The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a highly organized and mission-driven professional to serve as the Director of Grants and Partnerships. In collaboration with Chief Development Officer and Executive Director of Grants & Partnerships, this position plays a key role in advancing the Y's development efforts by securing grant funding and building corporate and community partnerships that strengthen programs, increase volunteer engagement, and drive philanthropic support.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and bring at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in nonprofit development, grant writing, or fundraising. The candidate will demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate, compelling proposals and reports. Success in this role requires strong organizational and time management abilities, particularly when handling multiple projects and deadlines. The candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected, and familiarity with donor databases such as Blackbaud or Salesforce is highly preferred.
