The Branch Executive Director serves as a key community leader, advancing the YMCA of the Triangle’s mission and strengthening its reputation as a welcoming organization. This role oversees all aspects of a high-performing branch with annual operating revenues exceeding $9MM, ensuring strong operations, staff and volunteer leadership, fundraising, and deep community involvement. The Branch Executive Director builds trusted relationships with local partners, schools, and civic leaders to expand the Y’s impact and relevance. They ensure alignment with the goals, values, and policies established by the YMCA of the Triangle’s Board of Directors, leadership team, and governing committees.

· Fiscal and Operational Savvy: Proven ability to manage large complex budgets, improve facilities (especially aging ones), restructure and/or adjust operations/programs and lead teams through major transitions.
· Creative Problem Solver: Ability to envision new opportunities, especially around youth development, teens, health and wellness, and community service, while strengthening existing operations/programs/services.
