Job Description
The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations to lead our brand strategy, communications, and public image. This leader will enhance the Y's visibility, strengthen community trust, and drive engagement across membership, programs, and philanthropy.
- Office-based with occasional evenings/weekends for events.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field.
- 8–10 years in marketing/communications, with 3+ in senior leadership.
- Proven expertise in brand strategy, media relations, and digital engagement.
- Strong leadership, project management, and public speaking skills.
- Nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred.
Essential Functions
- Lead strategic marketing and brand initiatives that align with the Y's mission and values.
- Serve as the primary media contact and spokesperson, managing public and crisis communications.
- Oversee digital strategy, content development, and marketing analytics.
- Partner across departments to support fundraising, membership, and community impact goals.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing marketing team and manage external vendors.
