The YMCA of Corsicana is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead the Cain Center YMCA in Athens, TX. This is an opportunity to build on strong momentum—leading a growing branch with an engaged staff team and expanding community impact.

The Cain Center YMCA is a vital part of the Athens community, serving individuals and families through programs that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

As Executive Director, you will:

The Executive Director provides leadership and operational oversight of the Cain Center YMCA, ensuring excellence in membership engagement, staff development, program quality, and community partnerships.

Working closely with the CEO and Branch Board, this leader will build on a strong foundation—sustaining membership growth while enhancing staff culture, member experience, and community visibility.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit, recreation, or human services
  • Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and overseeing operations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations and community stakeholders
  • YMCA experience preferred; Multi-Team Leader certification required within 18 months

YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification (or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire)
