    Job Description
              The YMCA of South Florida is seeking to hire a dynamic, collaborative, high-performing, energetic individual as SVP of Marketing. Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Vice President of Marketing will oversee all Marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention across the organization. The individual in this role will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth to exceed business goals. This individual is responsible for creating cohesive marketing plans, including communications, public relations, creative strategy, and execution. The SVP directly manages communications strategies that protect, promote, enhance, and tell the story of the brand, including direction and positioning of the organization and its C-Suite across web, media, and public relations.
 
           
  
    Qualifications
              
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field. 
 
- 20+ years of experience as a Senior Marketing leadership, or similar executive role, managing all aspects of on and offline Marketing and Creative Services for Major National brand, experience in a service industry a plus. 
 
- Minimum of fifteen years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability to lead teams with varying levels of skills and influence across all levels of the organization. 
 
- Minimum of fifteen years’ experience managing, maximizing, and holding accountable external agencies including Advertising and PR agencies, analytics firms, printers, and other suppliers of Marketing. 
 
- Preferred experience in a revenue-driven business, including sales and/or hospitality.
 
- Operating Strong understanding of market research, pricing, product marketing, and public relations. 
 
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing. 
 
- Able to present a portfolio reflecting proven history of driving revenue growth and managing successful marketing campaigns. 
 
- Experience with creative and communication services.
 
- Ability to develop, organize, and direct/teach Marketing, Creative, and Communication material to support the Association, Family Centers, and Product Lines initiatives. 
 
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where multiple priorities must be managed at the same time. 
 
- Ability to multitask along with excellent organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines on time. 
 
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, including being comfortable presenting in small and large groups, from Staff to Board Members, from Volunteer Committees to Partners and Communities. 
 
- Excellent people skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels. 
 
- Bilingual, English and Spanish, a plus.

    Essential Functions
              This high-energy executive will be responsible for market research, managing marketing budgets and teams, overseeing digital and traditional advertising campaigns, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with Senior leadership to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Specific responsibilities for this role include the following:
Develops and implements comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies and initiatives aligned with corporate goals and objectives that advance brand identity; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences. 
- Defines, enhances, and maintains the organization’s brand positioning and market presence by developing, leveraging, and executing comprehensive, long-term term and initiative-taking organization-wide communications, marketing, and branding strategy.
 
- Conducts thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities. 
 
- Builds, leads, manages, and mentors the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment while fostering a culture that aligns with and promotes the Y’s values.
 
- Creates and oversees a marketing budget of $1.6 to $2M, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI). 
 
- Develop strategies derived from consumer data to drive traffic, optimize marketing spending, identify cross-sell opportunities, introduce new products, and build strong brands.
 
- Drives marketing department efforts to increase business revenue through all product lines.
 
- Drives and oversees digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and display ad, Directs and coordinates marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and public relations. 
 
- Creates marketing/public relations strategy that will allow leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media and key influencers.
 
- Serves as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for collaborating with organizational leadership in creating the organization's overall vision, mission, values, beliefs, and strategic goals.
 
- Works with leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
 
- Defines and owns KPIs for targets and growth tracking performance metrics on a daily or weekly basis and iterate quickly to optimize, proactively detect, and course correct immediately. 
 
- Monitors and analyzes the performance of all marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize impact. 
 
- Stays informed of marketing trends, emerging marketing technologies, utilizes research-based approach to identify key messages and audiences, driving innovation in marketing approaches.
