The Castle Hill YMCA is seeking a Marketing Outreach Coordinator who will be responsible for building the image of the Glebe Older Adult Community Hub through marketing, social media, press coverage, newsletters, and website maintenance. They will be accountable for conducting ongoing outreach with various stakeholders to generate referrals and build relationships. The Marketing Outreach Coordinator will work with the Program Director to identify new ways to reach our target communities and support the goal of increasing program awareness.

The Marketing Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for conducting ongoing outreach with various stakeholders to generate qualified referrals for the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The Marketing Outreach Coordinator will directly build relationships with referral partners to create engagement opportunities with prospective enrollees and their caregivers. All activities will support the organization’s goal of increasing program awareness among targeted communities, building word-of-mouth advocacy within relevant demographics, and building key partnerships.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in the communications, marketing, or related fields required. 
  • Knowledge of social media, website maintenance, and general marketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, plus the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong writing skills to post on social media.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate graphic design, printing, and distribution of printed materials.
  • Provide program education through lectures, presentations, or other necessary communications with community and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain email and mailing lists.
  • Maintain social media platforms, including Facebook and the YMCA’s mobile app.
  • Operate the website and keep it consistently updated with fresh and relevant material.
  • Write high-quality marketing and communications materials, including brochures, newsletters, fliers, and postcards.
  • Develop informational handout/packets and follow up on referrals and appointments.
  • Support special events and attend meetings to enhance knowledge of the program and care delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the department as needed. 
  • Ensure alignment with all YMCA of Greater New York brand guidelines and work with the Association Office team on all social media postings.
