The YMCA of Greater New York is seeking an ASHI Regional Training Manager. The Regional Training Manager works alongside branch leadership to facilitate ASHI training sessions for all department staff. They will manage the strategy, systems, organization, and effective facilitation of all ASHI training. The Regional Training Manager will plan and implement a structured method to target all branches within the targeted region. They will ensure a high level of quality with training facilitation, communication, and collaboration with all branches they support. The Regional Training Manager will also support branches with functions pertaining to CPR/FA incidents and responses, and aid branches in strengthening EAPs. They will also facilitate training courses for the communities at large.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of training experience in HSI BLS/CPR/First Aid/Wilderness or equivalent.
  • HSI BLS/CPR/First Aid/Wilderness certification or equivalent required. If equivalent, must cross over to HSI within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Print Shop, etc.).
Essential Functions
  • Facilitate ASHI trainings, including BLS, CPR, AED, First Aid, Wilderness, Pediatric First Aid, Epinephrine Auto Injector, Babysitting, etc., as applicable for branch department staff regionally.
  • Manage administrative requirements and needs (certifications, progress monitoring, space, ordering supplies, etc.) and all other administrative duties/documentation required or assigned for the betterment of the training initiatives and branches in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure training tech is available.
  • Maintain accurate records pertaining to licensing requirements.
  • Ensure that adequate supplies and equipment are kept safe and available to conduct successful training.
  • Maintain an inventory system.
  • Maintain effective scheduling and calendar of regional branch training on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage budgets, revenue, and expenses.
  • Create and implement community fee-based trainings – facilitate, record data, issue certifications.
  • Facilitate the collection of feedback on training facilitation.
  • Attend meetings and training as needed and/or requested.
  • Work with the AO and branches to support with incidents regarding CPR/FA and response review.
  • Support branch teams by reviewing EAPs as they pertain to safety and CPR/FA response.
