The YMCA of the Rockies is looking for a Bennett Preschool Teacher to join our team in Estes Park, Colorado. If you love working with young children and believe some of the best learning happens when kids are encouraged to explore the world around them, this could be the opportunity for you.

At Bennett Preschool, we use a nature-based curriculum to help children ages 2.5–5 learn through curiosity, exploration, play, and hands-on experiences.

YOUR CLASSROOM ISN'T JUST FOUR WALLS
Imagine helping a child discover something new while surrounded by the mountains of Colorado.

As a Preschool Teacher, you'll collaborate with co-teachers and the Preschool Director to create engaging learning experiences inspired by the interests and curiosity of the children.

You'll have the opportunity to:

-Develop and implement nature-based preschool curriculum
-Create lesson plans based on children's interests
-Encourage curiosity, creativity, exploration, and discovery
-Observe children's development and document their growth
-Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
-Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment
-Participate in outdoor and hands-on learning experiences
-Work as part of a collaborative teaching team
