Under the general direction of the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, the District, Executive Director has the responsibilities and accountability to successfully lead and manage multiple branch operations and
implement the policies and programs of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland. This position is accountable for
the day to day operations of all assigned YMCA facilities.
Responsibilities includes overall accountability for district operations for all assigned facilities, while also
providing leadership to branch board development; branch fiscal management; branch fundraising/annual campaign; branch director selection, member engagement, community engagement, property management; and the carrying out of our Association's strategic plan. The position may also have the responsibility to lead and/or direct Association-Wide initiatives/priorities, programs and strategies.
Because this position is responsible for multiple operational sites, the initiation of timely communication
among the branch staff, Association staff, and boards regarding the status of goals and overall operations
is critical.
Education:
Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred.

Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within an agreed-upon timeframe).
CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.
