School Year Program Coordinator

Join a Great Camp Team on a Great Lake!
Camp Description

Camp Fitch YMCA has grown a lot since its founding in 1914 on the banks of the Little Beaver River in Ohio and now resides on 425 acres on Lake Erie in North Springfield, Pennsylvania. Serving over 18,000 people per year, we welcome members of the Camp Fitch Bunch 12 months per year through our traditional Summer Camp, Outdoor Education, Retreats and Weekend getaways, Adventure Trips, Farm and STEM programs, or just hiking the grounds and reconnecting with nature.

Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all with the purpose to make children better, forever. To that end, our staff is committed to develop perseverance in children through engaging programs that develop friendship, achievement, and belonging.

As a community of staff, volunteers, friends, and alumni, we raise over $350,000 per year to provide scholarships to over 4,000 families and their children because every child deserves the opportunity to grow along our famed shores.

Traditions like Candlelight written in the 1930s keep us strong, while our celebration of diversity keeps us growing toward the future. We invite you to visit or return home and experience the magic that makes the Camp Fitch Bunch “the truest and the best!”
