The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the CEO, the Finance Committee, Endowment Committee and the Board of Directors

 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • CPA, MBA, or equivalent preferred 

Experience

  • 7–10+ years of senior financial leadership experience
  • Experience managing a $10 million+ operating budget
  • Experience in multi-site or multi-location organizations
  • Proven success in financial planning and organizational growth

Essential Functions
  • Lead financial strategy and long-term planning
  • Ensure strong financial stewardship across all locations
  • Support capital projects and facility expansion
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Provide clear, actionable insight to leadership and the Board
  • Provide supervision and support to two direct reports, Accounts Payable, Controller
  • Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Working with the COO, oversee development of the annual operating budget across all branches
  • Manage banking, financing, endowment and capital structures
  • Ensure compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness
  • Support strategic planning and organizational growth
