What You’ll Do
• Direct operations of youth programs, ensuring quality and growth.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff and volunteers.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.
• Build strong relationships with schools, families, and community partners.
• Oversee enrollment, billing, and program marketing.
 
What We’re Looking For
• Certification or approved coursework in early childhood development (required).
• Degree in education, recreation, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in program administration or education.
• Knowledge of state child care licensing and Young Star accreditation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Certification or approved course work in early childhood development, required. Degree
in education, recreation, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in program administration or education, required.
• Knowledge of state child care licensing and Young Star accreditation requirements.
• Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.

Essential Functions

Direct operations of assigned programs providing leadership and strategy building that
will enhance and grow quality programs and services.
• Hire, train, evaluate and supervise staff and volunteers in accordance with Association
Human Resource procedures and policies. Provide leadership and appropriate delegation
of program operations to subordinates.
• Ensure state licensing and accreditation standards and requirements are adhered to
within all licensed child care programs, and personally cover responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain favorable communications and compliance statements with the Department of
Children and Family Services and collaborative relationships with community partner
schools and organizations.
• Align with Association Marketing standards and procedures to promote programs and
services to target audience within the community.
• Direct and monitor program enrollment and billing processes.
