Under the general direction of the CEO and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the VP of Financial Development and Marketing is responsible for building the community’s understanding of the YMCA’s cause and impact and developing and implementing effective fundraising, marketing, communication and outreach goals. This job will position the YMCA as a “charity of choice” for the investment of donations within the local community and be responsible for building the community’s understanding of the YMCA’s cause and impact.
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Previous experience in Annual Fundraising and Capital Fundraising for nonprofits preferred.
3. Must have good interpersonal, public relations and communication skills.
4. Computer and fundraising software experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Ability to walk, stand, bend and sit for long periods of time.
2. Must be able to lift and/or assist up to 40 pounds.

4. Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an
emergency.

and community in the development of programs and activities. Ensures execution of plans. Institutes
sound accounting procedures, investment policies and financial controls. Assigns clear accountability and
ensures continuous improvement.
