Job Description

Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in related program or field.
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen.
  • Current American Red Cross OR YMCA Lifeguard Instructor certification or equivalent and V6 Swim Lesson Instructor and Trainer must be obtained within 1 year
  • Have the ability to obtain Pesticide Technician within 120 days
  • Have the ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator
  • Have the ability to obtain within 120 days Bathing Place Manager within 120 days
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinates program activities to meet YMCA objectives.
  • Expands programs within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
  • Assists with the implementation, development, and monitoring of all programs.
  • Assists with management of program budget.
  • Assists with the implementation of program marketing materials.
  • Assists in recruiting volunteers.
  • Assists in staff and participant development.
  • Assists in facility(s) and offices clean, neat and organized.
  • Promotes character development in all programs.
  • Carries out special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Certifications
