Association Membership Director

We're hiring an Association Membership Director to lead and inspire our Membership teams across all six branches!
Job Description

This position provides strategic leadership, guidance, and mentorship—aligning membership operations with our association’s goals, best practices, and commitment to exceptional service. The Director will drive membership growth and engagement, including through third-party partnerships, and will use NPS feedback and data insights to enhance member experiences, strengthen programs, and spark innovation. In collaboration with branch and association leaders, this role will also help shape a strong, sustainable budget and ensure consistency in operations and service excellence. Become a champion for connection and belonging, guiding a unified approach to membership and guest experience that reflects the spirit and mission of the YMCA throughout the Fox Valley.

This is a full-time exempt leadership role within one of the largest YMCA associations in the United States. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
  • At least 5-years of experience as a YMCA Membership Director
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data & make informed decisions based on facts
  • Strong organizational & project management skills
  • Experience in budgeting & financial management
