Job Description
This position supports the mission of the YMCA by working with the Aquatics Director to execute aquatics programs, develop aquatics staff, and create a safe swimming environemnt at the Naik Family Branch.
Qualifications
- Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, AED, Emergency Oxygen Certifications, ARC preferred
- Certified Pool Operator (CPR) or willing to obtain
- 3-5 years Aquatics Experience
- Experience supervising and leading others
Essential Functions
- Schedule and supervise lifeguards and swim instructors
- Help enhance and deliver high-quality swim lessons
- Ensure safety and compliance in all aquatic areas
- Engage with YMCA members and families to build strong relationships
- Lifeguard and instruct as needed during programs and at Camp Cove
