The Vice President of Program Strategy and Impact will provide strategic leadership and direction to the YMCA of South Florida’s programs, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the Association. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of nonprofit leadership (strong preference for youth-serving organizational experience), education policy, program management or related field.
• Proven success in strategic planning, program innovation, and multi-site operations.
• Must be currently serving in a leadership role and have budget & oversite responsibility of over $10M within multiple sites / centers.
• Expertise in data-driven decision-making, evaluation, and impact measurement.
• Experience managing complex partnerships, including government agencies and funders.
• Ability to communicate and develop presentations to key stakeholders to show the impact of Y work.
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
• Excellent supervisory and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent computer skills, (Microsoft Office; Word and Excel).
Essential Functions / Job Duties:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of product line focused programs, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and impactful. This includes defining program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.
• Align program strategies with organizational goals and product line approach: Ensuring that program initiatives support the overall business plan and strategic direction.
• In partnership with the Product Line Lead - research, analyzing data, and staying abreast of industry trends to identify new program areas and potential areas for growth and innovation.
• Lead the development of program budgets and resource allocation: Ensuring efficient use of resources and financial accountability.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance: Tracking progress against KPIs and adjusting as needed.
• Ensure attainment of business plans for growth and profit through improved processes and management methods to generate higher returns on investment and workflow optimization.
• Oversee the preparation of the annual budgets for the Family Center Product Lines and monitor monthly financial reports to assure revenue targets are met and expenses are controlled.
• Implement and oversee a program evaluation system to guarantee faithfulness to the Y’s cause, and a high-quality commitment to YMCA standards.
• Ensure the operational growth of the YMCA through program expansion, member recruitment and retention, pricing strategies, new site development, collaborations as well as mergers and acquisitions.
• Identify potential areas for family center cooperative programming to accomplish YMCA goals, and work with staff groups to develop and implement programs. Foster a climate of innovation to develop member-focused programs and lead Family Center staff in the planning, development and implementation of new program initiatives and activities.

• Provide guidance and cooperative leadership for the Annual Giving Campaigns for all program product lines, focused on family centers.
• Serve as a member of the Association Leadership Team and support the overall objectives of the YMCA.
