The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a ChildWatch Program Director for the CHASCO Family YMCA.
Job Description
The Program Director will interact with employees, management, members, and other business associates in an outgoing, courteous manner while performing various administrative, support, and specialty duties related to the efficient operation of YMCA ChildWatch.
The Program Director will be responsible for new revenue growth in the department and must model relationship-building skills in all interactions to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Must possess a valid Texas Drivers' License and valid insurance
- Must pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check
Essential Functions
- Manages, directs and supervises ChildWatch activities to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives
- Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed
- Monitors daily operations within the ChildWatch Department.
- Provide hands on duties as needed to include assisting with opening and closing, in-service training, and daily operations, customer relations and recovery.
- Maintains accurate records of participant’s in the ChildWatch Department.
- Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information
- Develops, manages and controls department budgets to meet fiscal objectives
