JOB DESCRIPTION
The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth impacts lives every day. We are a leading non-profit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Sports and Recreation Director will lead the development and implementation of high quality sports programs as well as Summer Day Camp. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality youth programs, combined with the ability to manage the administrative components of a youth sports program. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to ensure that the participants and families have an exceptional experience at the Y. Responsibilities include supervision and training of the program staff along with new and innovative ideas to grow and expand existing programs. The director will need to be available to work on weekends, as this is when many of the games take place.
Teaming up with the City of Bedford, the YMCA offers a full-court press of programs and opportunities aimed at enriching our community through sports, recreation, Summer Day Camp and beyond. As a leader at The Bedford Center YMCA, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our community in Bedford, Texas. Our Summer Day Camp serves 160 campers a day with a team of 40 staff members. Our Youth Sports program served 1,000 youth last year with a team of 10 staff members.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.
The yearly salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
