The Summit Area YMCA is seeking an experienced Facilities Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of our buildings, aquatic facilities, and physical infrastructure across the Association. Reporting directly to the CEO and President, this senior leadership position is responsible for protecting and enhancing the organization’s physical assets while ensuring our facilities are safe, compliant, efficient, and positioned to support our mission for years to come.
The Facilities Director oversees four buildings and three aquatic facilities, working with maintenance and housekeeping teams and external vendors to ensure effective facility operations. This role extends beyond day-to-day maintenance to include long-range facility planning, capital project leadership, asset lifecycle management, budget oversight, sustainability initiatives, and collaboration with executive leadership and the Facilities Committee.
We are looking for a facilities professional who can assess organizational needs, establish priorities, lead teams and projects, and translate complex facility issues into clear recommendations and actionable plans.

Salary & Benefits
This full-time, exempt-level position generally works Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities based on operational needs, projects, or emergencies. The Salary range for this position is $110,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience.

Pool Operator certification (CPO or AFO) or ability to obtain within 6 months
Boiler certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
CPR/AED and First Aid certification or to be obtained within 90 days of hire
