New Specialty Product to Debut on Giving Tuesday, November 30th Making Exercise More Accessible For All
November 17, 2021 (Austin and Chicago) Outdoor Voices and the YMCA have entered into a
three-year partnership with the goal of making exercise more accessible for all, providing
Recreationalists everywhere with equal opportunity.
On Giving Tuesday, November 30th, Outdoor Voices will launch three products, a sweatshirt (Y’all Graphic Sweatshirt, $88,); a hat (Y’all Hat, $28), and crew socks (Y’all Crew Sock 3 Pack, $30,), all emblazoned with the favorite Outdoor Voices expression, “Y’all”. “Y’all” was initially used by Outdoor Voices to describe the community of Recreationalists fostered by the brand. The phrase returns with new intention, nodding to the beneficiary of this new product launch — the Y. One hundred percent of the profits from all three items will go toward YMCA of the USA with the intention of supporting their mission of building stronger communities and helping people tap into their potential, purpose, and each other. Products will be available for purchase beginning at 12:00 am ET on Outdoor Voices’ website and across all 14 of their retail locations, including their two pop-up locations in Palo Alto, CA and Austin, TX.
Throughout December and January, the partnership will continue with a workout series led by local YMCA instructors across the country and hosted at select Outdoor Voices retail stores. In addition, there will be giveaways hosted on Outdoor Voices' social channels, where entrants will have the opportunity to win a donation made in their name to the local Y of their choice.
