All-Access Membership

Membership at the YMCA includes plenty of opportunities to learn, play and get healthy. That’s because when you join one Y, you join them all! The Wellness Center: Where Health is Wealth

Mission Valley YMCA offers a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights and group exercise studios.

    • KickStart is a personalized wellness program consisting of three one-on-one sessions over thirty days, free for all members of the YMCA!
  • Group Exercise Class
  • Body Composition Assessments
    • Our fitness professionals will lead you through a body composition analysis that include 20 measurements like weight, body water, body fat percentage, and muscle mass

Sports at the Y: Do More, Be More

Swim at the Y: Learn Together, Play Together

Our location has an indoor and outdoor pool which offer swim lessons for all ages, family swim, water aerobics, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs.

Child Care at the Y: Call on Us

The YMCA is the nation's leading provider of child care. Playful, engaging options are plentiful for young children at the Y.

  • Child Watch and Kids Club
    • Child Watch and Kids Club is a program where the YMCA provides up to two hours of free supervised playtime in a safe, enriching environment for those with family memberships while they utilize the Y's facilities
    • The hours for Child Watch, for children 6 weeks to 12 years old are
      • Sunday 9:00 am-2:00 pm
      • Monday through Friday 7:45 am-2:00 pm and 3:00 pm-8:00 pm.
      • Saturday 8:00 am-2:00 pm.
    • The hours for Kids Club, for children 6-12 years old, are
      • Sunday 9:00 am-12:30 pm
      • Monday through Thursday 4:00 pm-7:30 pm
      • Saturdays 8:30 am-12:30 pm.
  • Character Builders

Camp with the Y: Our Doors Are Open

The YMCA of San Diego County is proud to offer several amazing camps where every child can build confidence and make new friends in a safe and nurturing environment. Members get up to 25% off camp registration and we offer scholarships to families who qualify.

Socialize at the Y: Strengthening Our Community

The Y is a place where you can challenge yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, foster connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bring your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities.

    • In addition to offering health and wellness activites geared toward the active older adults, Mission Valley YMCA also offers events for the Y Active Adults to socialize and go on outings

Learn, Grow, Thrive

The YMCA offers trainings, workshops, certification programs, and academic enrichment opportunities for people of all ages.

  • Youth and Government is a model government program for teens

  • PRYDE (Prevention, Recreation, Youth, Diversity, and Education) is a program that aims to encourage children to resist drugs, alcohol and gang involvement by developing their pride in self, family, community and future

  • CYMER Digital Studio is a learning environment outfitted with high-tech tools and professional-quality digital equipment
    • You can utilize the studio by attending a class or program there, such as Youth Robotics or Adult Photoshop, or by attending open studio hours
  • The YMCA offers classes to get AHA, OSHA and EMSA certifications in first aid, CPR and AED

Membership and Program Assistance

The YMCA offers financial scholarships to reduce membership and program fees to those that qualify, helping ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our scholarship program is based on a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each family's financial situation, and is available thanks to our generous Annual Campaign donors.
