Job Description
This position will support staff, branches, and departments with hardware, software, network connectivity, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and other technology needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate’s degree in IT-related field required
- Two to four years of related IT experience required.
IT, cybersecurity, or project management certification preferred. - Excellent communication, supervisory, and troubleshooting skills.
- An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Successfully complete within 60 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/O2 Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Child Abuse Prevention training, and all other required training as specified by your supervisor.
Essential Functions
The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for hands-on support of technical and operational aspects of IT systems.
Support: Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Connect: Support network infrastructure, telecommunications, servers, and cloud environments.
Implement: Install, configure, and update software applications and technology systems; support system upgrades, new facility openings, and technology-related projects.
Collaborate: Serve as a technology resource and advisor to branches and departments; partner with staff to identify technology needs and develop effective solutions.
