Building Brighter Futures Together in New Orleans (VIDEO)

A collaboration between the YMCA of Greater New Orleans and the New Orleans Public Library is helping adults in New Orleans strengthen their literacy skills while feeling supported, encouraged, and connected. Through the YMCA Educational Services (YES!) program, participants receive personalized support in reading, writing, digital literacy, and GED preparation, all within a safe, welcoming environment where they can focus on their goals, connect with others, and take meaningful steps toward new opportunities for work, school, and daily life. By joining forces, the Y and the Library are connecting communities in a powerful way and expanding access to free adult education throughout the city.
