Whether you're a soccer fanatic, a first-time player, or have a kid who's looking to learn, the YMCA has the soccer program you're looking for! Our branches offer practice and recreational scrimmages for kids to learn teamwork and basic skills (where every child gets a chance to play), as well as clinics to work on technique with drills and excellent coaching, and competitive leagues for advanced youngsters and adults.

Your rookie athlete will focus on sportsmanship, teamwork and self-esteem in this parent-child participation program. Sports offered are flag football, basketball, soccer, and t-ball focusing on one sport at a time. Each sports session will run for 8 weeks and each class will be 30 minutes. This program is designed to give rookie athletes an opportunity to develop their sports skills in a structured, fun and safe environment while working and spending quality one-on-one time with their parent.

Each sport follows a curriculum for the course of the 8 weeks to help develop your child’s skill development along with their motor skills with appropriate exercises with age appropriate equipment. 

*Parent participation is highly encouraged. Parents and/or guardians need to remain at the court/field with their child.
