Be a part of one of the most inspiring events in our community! Local fifth graders take the challenge of riding 267 miles across the state of California. Starting in Yuma, AZ and ending in San Diego, CA this event encourages physical fitness as well as character building by showing kids how proper training and planning can enable them to accomplish any goal they set.

RAC Categories:

  • Rider (Fifth Grader or Adult)
  • Chase Driver (follows riders in vehicle)
  • Chase Child (attends with the chase driver)
  • Alumni Rider (completed at least one RAC in the past)
  • Leader in Training (sibling of fifth grade rider and past RAC Rider)
  • Special Project Chase Driver (must participate in one RAC assignment)

RAC Meetings:

Meetings for Riders and Parents:

  • Aug. 24 or Sep. 7 (choose one)-Oak Valley Middle School, 7pm
  • October 12
  • January 11
  • February 1
  • March 22 or March 29 (choose one)

Alumni Riders - (can attend after August meetings if we have space to accommodate):

  • September 28 or October 19 (choose one)
  • March 22 or March 29 (choose one)

Registration and Payment:

  • A $99 deposit is required for all riders.
  • A $25 deposit is required for Chase, Alumni and Leaders in Training.

The balance is due January 9, 2018. Payments can be made online or walk in, mail or call them into the Rancho Family YMCA.
