LEGENDS at Escondido Union School District

What is LEGENDS? LEGENDS is one of several state-funded Expanded Learning Programs (ELP) offered by the YMCA of San Diego County in partnership with the Escondido Union School District.

The goal of LEGENDS is to create an academic enrichment program whose primary focus is to assist students with higher achievement in the school day and create a dynamic after-school environment that gives children the boost they need to succeed academically and socially.
This free program provides structured academic, physical and social activities for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students from one of the following “Title 1” elementary school sites in Escondido:

This program generally operates immediately after school until 6:00 pm daily. However, this program does not operate when schools are closed, including intercessions, vacations and holidays.
