Surf SOUL Surfer GIRLS
Session 2/3 Grades 10-11
The SOUL program focuses on personal growth, communication, and leadership. Each SOUL session starts with a 3 day-2 night trip to San Onofre State Beach. Time back at camp includes a beach cruiser bike trip to Coronado, evening surf sessions, stories around a campfire, and choice activities like archery, climbing, crafts, body boarding, and more. This program has it all including a focus on:
Service - Organize and help staff at the carnival and an evening program with our youngest campers. Work with our full-time staff on a camp service project, improving or building a program area to "leave your mark" at camp!
Outreach - Spend one day volunteering at a local community or non-profit agency. Past projects have included partnerships with Wild Willows and the Tijuana Estuary.
Unity - Friendship is one of the most important elements of the camp experience, and we dedicate time for the group to learn about yourself and each other, and the value that each individual brings.
Leadership - Spend some time working with our camp counselors in a supportive role as a mentor for our youngest campers. Whether you assist in a body boarding or archery lesson, or get in costume for the dance, the opportunities to lead are unlimited!
For campers entering grades 10-11.
