Session 4 Grades 2-8 GIRLS
The Explorer program is where a lifetime of appreciation for summer fun begins with campers in grades 2-5. Our Explorers stay with their cabin group throughout the week. Two Explorer Counselors will guide campers through all of the camp activities including Archery, BB’s, Arts and Crafts and nature activities. Counselors provide campers with opportunities to make friends, try something new and to build a community.
The Challenger Program is the next step for campers in grades 6-8. As well as trying all of the camp activities with their counselors, challengers can select a “Mad Skill” on Sunday. Mad Skills range from Archery and BB’s to Science, Nature, Drama and Dance with Sports and other activities in between. Campers spend 1.5 hours every morning honing their mad skills and the rest of the week is spent with their cabin group and camp counselors exploring everything else camp has to offer.
Both Challengers and Explorers come together to enjoy a “PYP” session or pick your pleasure – they choose which counselor lead activity they want to do - once a day. Thursday night we close camp together with our Super Cabin Bonanza and Candlelight Ceremony and on Friday everyone bands together to compete in our weekly Color Chaos to see which team has the most spirit before our Family BBQ and activities Friday afternoon.
- - The Explorer and Challenger programs will be divided into the appropriate group upon arrival to camp and there is no need to specify which program you are registering for at this time. - -
