Spring Into Fitness

Kickstart your summer fitness goals! Join us in our Wellness Bingo challenge from April 1-30, and complete 5 challenges in a row to be entered into a drawing to win a free month of membership and some YMCA gear. Challenges include activities such as doing a cardio workout, taking a group exercise class, doing an outdoor activity, doing a strength workout and more!

How to play:

  • Grab a Bingo card from the Wellness Center or our Wellness Staff
  • Complete 5 challenges in a row to earn Bingo
  • Once you have Bingo, turn your card in to a YMCA staff member to be entered into the drawing

Gymnastics Play Date

Flipping Out • May 3-24 • Fridays • 9:30-10:25 am

Our preschool gymnastics program provides a structured, movement-based class that help children learn the basics of gymnastics and foster social development through cooperative play. Using obstacle courses, equipment stations and positive encouragement, your child will work on building their strength, coordination, and self-esteem!


Hip Hop Program

Get Up And Move • Multiple Levels and Days

Our youth dance classes are fun, healthy and challenging! High energy boys and girls will have a blast learning hip hop basics and introductory break dance moves to today’s popular music in a fun, age-appropriate class.

Level 1, Ages 5-9: Wednesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm

Level 1, Ages 10-18: Wednesdays, 6:25-7:20 pm

Hip Hop Dance Team, Ages 10-18: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:30-8:00 pm

Our youth ballet program will teach basic introduction to classical ballet and tap focuses on having fun while learning terms, feet and arm placement, dance etiquette and technique!

Spring Youth Sports

No matter your child's age of interest, we have a fun and engaging program for it that focuses on teamwork, friendly competition, athletics and encouragement.

From preschool sports to youth volleyball clinics, from soccer to recreational basketball leagues, we have a program that can help your kids get in the game, break a sweat and learn something new! Mandatory skills assessments for basketball and soccer leagues take place on April 6.

Our certified personal trainers use their knowledge of current research concepts, methods of sound exercise principles, and state-of-the-art equipment to guide you to your fitness goals. Based on your health and individual needs, our personal trainers will customize and implement a program to fit your goals. No matter your fitness level, nothing can replace the support, challenge, and accountability that come with a trainer onboard your workout.

Mother's Day Textile Class

Textile Creation • May 4 • 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us for a special Mother’s Day crafting class! Members attending will work on a special Mother’s Day project that you will be able to take home and enjoy. Class is FREE and open only to YMCA Members. Supplies are included with enrollment. Limited space, please register today! We will be creating fabric flower corsages.

Restorative Yoga

Designed to revitalize the body and energize the spirit. Please bring a blanket, towel, or yoga mat.

Gentle Yoga
Mondays at 10:30am & Tuesdays at 9:30am

Breathing and relaxation in postures that are gentle on the joints.

YAA Birthday Celebrations
10:30 am-11:00 am • April 25

Come out and celebrate with us on the final Thursday of each month from 10:30am-11:00am in the intergenerational room.

The YMCA of San Diego County is proud to celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day with a Day at the Bay. This yearly event brings together the Y's Active Adult senior community to participate in physical and social activities to enhance the spirit, mind and body. Join us for lunch and activities including: kayaking, paddle boarding, exercise classes, sailing, lawn games and more!
