At the YMCA of San Diego County, we are committed to reach out to kids and families regardless of income, to provide support by engaging in the Y. We are able to do so with the donations to our Annual Support Campaign, an annual fundraising effort to provide scholarship, inclusion and subsidized programs to our growing communities. Childcare at the Y

Engaging Options • Monday-Saturday

Child Watch and Kids Club is a program where the YMCA provides up to two hours of free supervised playtime in a safe, enriching environment for those with family memberships while they utilize the Y's facilities! The hours for Child Watch are Monday through Thursday 7:45 am-11:45 am and 4:15 pm-8:15 pm., Friday 7:15 am-11:45 am and 4:15 pm-7:15 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am-12:00 pm. The hours for Kids Club, for children 7-12 years old, are Monday through Thursday 4:15 pm-8:15 pm, Friday 4:15 pm-7:15 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am-12:00 pm.

Spring Break Camp

Best Spring Ever! • March & April

Our week-long camps are exciting ways to spend a school break! We include lots of action-packed trips and activities that keep your children engaged and happy, like daily field trips, arts & crafts, sports and games.

Hip Hop Program

Get Up And Move • Multiple Levels and Days

Our youth dance classes are fun, healthy and challenging! High energy boys and girls will have a blast learning hip hop basics and introductory break dance moves to today’s popular music in a fun, age-appropriate class.

Level 1, Ages 5-9: Wednesdays, 5:15-6:00 pm

Level 2: Ages 5-9 Thursdays, 5:15-6:00 pm

Level 1, Ages 10-18: Wednesdays, 6:25-7:20 pm

Our youth ballet program will teach basic introduction to classical ballet and tap focuses on having fun while learning terms, feet and arm placement, dance etiquette and technique!

23rd Annual Jackie Robinson Family YMCA Gala

Celebrating 23 Years • April 13 • 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Since our first event in 1997, the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA has awarded $320,000 to 204 students from southeastern San Diego to help them pursue their dreams of higher education.
