The Dan McKinney Family YMCA (formerly La Jolla YMCA) has been proudly serving La Jolla families since 1964 and recently opened a second location, the Shepherd YMCA Firehouse, in 2016. The YMCA of San Diego County is proud to offer several amazing camps where every child can build confidence and make new friends in a safe and nurturing environment. Members get up to 25 percent off camp registration and we offer scholarships to families who qualify.

The YMCA offers financial scholarships to reduce membership and program fees to those that qualify, helping ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our scholarship program is based on a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each family's financial situation, and is available thanks to our generous Annual Campaign donors.
