Parents Night Out gives moms and dads the opportunity to enjoy an evening out while the kids have fun at the Y! Each night includes a fun theme with related games, arts & crafts, and healthy snacks for the kids.

Archery Enrichment

Keeping Them Engaged • Mondays • 3:30-4:30 pm

School is back in session!  Keep your child growing with our after school enrichment programs. Kids will become skilled archers and learn how to shoot a bow and arrow. Each day kids will learn different styles of shooting and improve their skills through target practice and a variety of archery games. All equipment and materials are provided by the Y.

No matter your child's age of interest, we have a fun and engaging program for it that focuses on teamwork, friendly competition, athletics and encouragement.

From preschool sports to youth volleyball clinics, from soccer to recreational basketball leagues, we have a program that can help your kids get in the game, break a sweat and learn something new!

Youth & Government

Become A Leader • September-February

Our Youth & Government program works with teens to develop leadership skills, public speaking, critical thinking, and learn about the California legislator and court system. This will be done over two training conferences and a final conference in Sacramento where the Model Legislator and Court program will take place.

Teen Leadership Conference

Developing Important Skills • October 12-14, 2018

This teen leadership conference is a three day high school leadership training where you will meet teens from all over San Diego County.  You will be starting your road to success by learning tips and skills to succeed in school, get into college and workforce. 

This conference is at Camp Marston in Julian where between sessions you will have free time to choose from: archery, rock climbing, gaga, hiking, marksmanship and other great camp activities.

Reike is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reike as a treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.

Gymnastics Halloween Party

Spooky Fun For Everyone • 6:00-9:00 pm, October 26

Come flip for treats at the Gymnastics Halloween Party! Your child can come dressed in their Halloween costume or a leotard. Your kids will enjoy gymnastics time in the gym, trick or treating, and a costume contest! Dinner will be provided. (Pizza and fruit)

 

Halloween Carnival

Spooky Fun For Everyone • 4:00-6:00 pm, October 26

Our fall favorite is back! Join us for our Halloween Carnival at the Y where the whole family can show off their Halloween costumes, and engage in family activities such as a potato sack race, tattoo station, face painting, bean bag toss, and other spooky fun!  Event is free to the community - no need to register.
