Job Description

This position will, in coordination with the Property Directors and branch leadership, oversee branch capital projects, triage emergency issues association wide, conduct site visits and develop action plans to address priorities.

  • High School Diploma (required) Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
  • At least five years of leadership experience in the field of property management or property development.
  • Demonstrated skills in facility and capital equipment acquisition, maintenance, repair, and replacement.  Preference will be given to candidates with skills in building systems management including HVAC, plumbing, electric, and swimming pool operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and achieve budget goals.
  • Personal values consistent with the YMCA mission.


Essential Functions
  • Oversee all aspects of facility/property management team
  • Ensure that all buildings, pools, and grounds are maintained in accordance with approved YMCA, OSHA and/or other certifying agency standards
  • Ensure branches meet or exceed targets for facility maintenance and cleanliness
  • Monthly visits and inspections of branches to support the development of property management plans.  Assist in the development and execution of the Asset Management Plan for the YMCA of Central Stark County
  • Maintain appropriate inventory and upkeep of equipment and supplies
  • Recruit, train, and supervise all staff and/or contractors for specified duties
