Job Description

The Food Services Director ensures the overall quality and delivery of food prepared and served at Camp. The Food Services Manager oversees a team of kitchen staff and builds a positive team environment where all can grow and flourish while supporting this essential part of the Camp experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Minimum three years related experience

- Ability to obtain State of California food service manager and serve safe certificates

- Effective computer and organizational skills. Excellent time management, coordination, and communication skills

- Available to work evenings and weekends

- Prior experience in catering a plus

Essential Functions

Some essential functions include:

- Create and modify new menus seasonally

- Coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all the food operations

- Ensure quality dishes are served on schedule and at the correct temperature

- Work with Health Services department to ensure dietary needs are met at each meal

- Plan, direct, supervise, all food service staff
