The YMCA of Greater Richmond's Association Resource Center is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable and dedicated aquatic maintenance professional to provide monitoring, maintenance and repair of all association indoor and outdoor facilities, equipment, systems, components and accessories.
High school degree or its equivalent with related formal training preferred. A minimum of three years of maintenance and budgeting experience in facilities and pool management is required. Project management, time management and multi-tasking skills necessary. Previous Y work experience is desirable. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Proficiency in computer skills with Microsoft Office is preferred. CPO and CPR certifications desired.
The Association Aquatics Maintenance Director is responsible for the monitoring, maintenance and repair of all association indoor and outdoor pools, splash pads, aquatic buildings, filtration systems, components, and swimming pool accessories that includes 21 large pools, (5) small pools and (5) splash pads. They will be responsible for the oversight of cleanliness and maintenance of all aquatic facilities in accordance with association standards and safety requirements; prepares outdoor pool and buildings for summer operation and winter shutdown; handles hazardous chemicals, such as chlorine and muriatic acid. Assists in the repairs and maintenance of association facility portfolio as assigned.
