The Healthy Living Experience Director is responsible for the day-to day operations of wellness (wellness floor, personal training, small group programming and group exercise), and membership engagement. This position will provide leadership and superior service procedures to maximize program participation and enrollment through professional customer service, relationship building and accountability for program/member information. This position is a hands-on job with partial hours spent working directly with members and helping with cleaning.

Qualifications

1.    Minimum two years health and wellness experience.

2.    Strong customer service skills.

3.    Prior experience in hiring, training and supervising staff

4.    Great organizational skills

5.    Excellent computer skills

6.    Excellent communication skills

7.    Available to work evenings and weekends

8.    Currently certified in CPR/AED and first aid, or be certified within 30 days of hire.

Essential Functions

·Responsible for recruiting, coaching, training, and supervising wellness floor, group exercise, personal trainers and small group instructors.  This includes scheduling.

·Manages all electronic membership tools and processes.

·Responsible for onboarding members, following up with both members and potential members.

·Accountable for the creation and implementation of all membership retention programs; Develop relationships with members.

·Responsible for ensuring work areas are clean and are following the sanitation guidelines.

·Other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
