Training Manager

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an energetic individual to join our team as a Training Manager.

Success in this position requires the ability to build strong relationships, train, motivate, and lead projects. We are seeking a team player that likes to dig in and get the work done, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  This position requires high-energy, strong organization skills, proven ability to work well with others and flexibility to handle change fluidly.

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years working in a YMCA environment preferred;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; word, excel, PowerPoint;
  • Organized with strong administrative skills;
  • Excellent relationship building skills;
  • Ability to travel to various branch locations
  • A 4 year college degree is preferred;
  • Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus;
  • Must have valid Texas Driver license and necessary liability insurance;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history check and sex offender registry check.
Essential Functions
  • Partnering with department leaders and core groups to coordinate, build and organize trainings
  • Review recommended training programs
  • Communicates and coordinates YUSA trainings
  • Develops and updates Annual training calendar
  • Conduct and facilitate various compliance and Association trainings
  • Organizes and coordinates annual program school
  • Builds training presentations as needed
  • Develop evaluation process
  • Retain training materials and certifications
  • Manage training databases
  • Work with training vendors
