  • Preferred Age: 21+
  • Oversee respective unit and their staff
  • Upload Incident Reports for their unit to Association Database
  • Provide coaching and aid with behavioral and homesickness issues within the unit
  • Coach and evaluate staff within their unit
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness within their unit
  • Lead at least 1 “Stayover Weekend” over the course of the summer
  • Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character Development Values
  • Ensure the emotional, mental, and physical safety of all participants
  • Complete required paperwork in timely manner
  • Work in tandem with other camp staff to create a safe and welcoming experience for all
  • Inform Program Director of any camper or staff concerns
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, maturity, responsibility, sound judgment, and good decision-making skills
  • Be of good character, and in sympathy with the goals and objectives of YMCA Camp Piomingo
  • Other duties as assigned

STATUS: Part-time; Non-exempt, Seasonal 

SHIFT: Sunday – Friday, daily hourly breaks, housing and meals provided
