Marketing Manager

Seeking a marketing professional to join the Marketing & Communications team at YMCA of the Rockies, based out of Snow Mountain Ranch.
Job Description

This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 225,000 guests) annually. The Marketing Manager will work with the Marketing Team to develop effective strategies to promote YMCA of the Rockies (Estes Park Center, Snow Mountain Ranch, and Camp Chief Ouray) through ideation, implementation, and tracking of our paid media programs. The Marketing Manager will also serve as marketing and communications lead for Snow Mountain Ranch, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and working closely with their associated teams and visiting media guests. This position will also function as part of our crisis communications response team.

Qualifications
  • Three years of experience in a marketing / communications role in the hospitality industry
  • Top-notch writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Passion for and mastery of paid media programs
  • Creative prowess to establish and drive marketing and communications strategies to reach specific audiences
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising
  • Photography and/or graphic design experience, a plus
  • Self-driven and able to navigate fast-moving, complicated environments
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop positive, supportive, and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must comply with Association service principles and service standards
  • Possess a valid, USA state issued driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a diverse environment
  • Support the Association safety program
  • Promote safe work practices and a safe environment for guests, members and staff 
Essential Functions
  • Lead and support implementation of YMCA of the Rockies paid marketing strategies
  • Innovate seasonal campaigns to boost booking and membership goals and drive revenue
  • Measure and optimize our paid marketing using various dashboards and analytics
  • Manage media and agency partnerships
  • Serve as marketing team’s point person for all things Snow Mountain Ranch for internal stakeholders and media
  • Write advertising, website, and social media copy
  • Collaborate with Social Media Strategist to ensure external communications and social media content align.
  • Possess a geek-level obsession with KPIs and an ability to make strategic, data-based decisions
  • Ensure all marketing materials remain consistent with the YMCA of the Rockies brand and Y-USA brand standards.
  • Function as part of the AssociatiAon Crisis Communications team, preparing for and assisting with high-visibility communications involving emergencies, unplanned media exposure, and or regional events involving YMCA guests and employees.
  • Work with staff to continually develop marketing programs and advertising packages that further the mission of the YMCA of the Rockies.
