Job Description

Supervise the Maintenance and Custodial department of the total facility.

Develop and manage approved department budgets.

Participate in staff directors team.

Qualifications

YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.

Ability to work with integrity, discretion and a professional approach.

Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations, language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.

Strong written and verbal communicaton skills

Technology aptitude

Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful

Certified in CPR and 1st Aid

Essential Functions

Hire, supervise, train, schedule and evaluate department staff.

Develop and control assigned budgets.

Assure cleanliness and safety of the entire facility and grounds.

Swimming pool and whirlpool Maintenance-Dertified CPO: Chemical balance, temperature, maintenance of records.

Work as part of the staff team to demonstrate and promote the YMCA character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Conduct quarterly safety checks and make corrections as needed.
