Job Description
This position is responsible for developing, delivering and administering the Gymnastics program at an assigned branch. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising and developing assigned team. Oversee the engagement and recruitment of program volunteers for the program.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service oriented environment/business
- Minimum 3 years work experience in gymnastics team
- 2 years’ supervisory experience required for a team of 5 or larger
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and a passion for reaching out to all levels of society to further the mission and goals of the YMCA
- Adequate computer skills including Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment
- Ability to work with current technology including apps
- Must be able to adhere to timetables, meet KPIs, deadlines, prioritize and be able to work with multiple staff of varying skill/ability levels
- Must be able to work weekends and travel with team
- Visual and auditory ability to respond in critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in the event of an emergency.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and repetitive hand motion is required.
- CPR and First Aid certified upon hire and must be from one of the following:
- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
Essential Functions
- Directs and supervises the boys and girls gymnastics' team program and program related activities to meet Y objectives
- Oversees and develops team gymnastics coaches and coordinators
- Ensure the standardized YMCA Gymnastics curriculum is being utilized while operating all programs, ensuring excellent customer service and safe environment for all
- Develop staff schedule, gymnastics team rotation schedules, implement lesson plans, and maintain consistent feedback to staff (mentorship program), as well as a quarterly staff training
- Follow SOPs and goals provided by Department Head
- Effectively utilize technology provided by the association to track customer attendance, skill progression and customer communication, staff schedule and staff communication
- Provide timely and consistent communication to staff, volunteers and members
- Meet KPIs developed for the department (e.g. profit margin, retention, professionalism, attendance track, communication, etc.)
- Ensure marketing materials are submitted timely. Collaborate with the marketing department and ensure all SOPs are being followed
- In conjunction to the Finance Department and the YMCA budget guidelines, develop, prepare and control gymnastics’ team department budget accounts for the expenditure of funds in accordance with the approved budget
- Create yearly competition budgets
- Actively participate in all branch fundraising events
- Ability to teach all class levels effectively
