Job Description

The Membership Director provides senior-level leadership and direction for the development and execution of comprehensive membership development including membership growth and retention.

We are currently seeking Membership Directors for our branches in Westerly, RI and Mystic, CT.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications
  • 5+ years’ experience in membership sales and/or marketing
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Excellent computer and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with top community leaders and develop professional relationships
  • CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Administration certification-YMCA willing to train
Essential Functions
  • Responsible for membership revenues and creating marketing strategies
  • Implementing member quality standard and satisfaction
  • Maintaining membership outcome measurements
  • Participates in planning and managing the annual budget
  • Supervises Welcome Center and Child Watch staff including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensures compliance with policies in Welcome Center and Child Watch areas at all times
  • Actively participates in the Annual Support Campaign
