This position supports the work of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Chief Human Resources Officer is responsible for leading all of the human resources functions of the organization (both staff and program volunteers) in accordance with the policies and practices of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges and the laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations. The CHRO is also responsible for strategic human resource planning to provide the organization with the best talent available, positioning the Metro YMCA as an employer of choice by being aware of policies, practices and trends within the industry. The incumbent provides leadership to the development and sustainability of a culture of employee and volunteer engagement to ensure excellence in the membership experience and program delivery across all segments of the Metro YMCA organization.
