Job Description
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Membership & Child Watch departments - including membership growth, membership satisfaction and membership retention.  
  • Development and maintenance of his/her approved budget.
  • Ensures the Richardson YMCA is represented by staff on the Association Member Services team.
  • Hiring, training, and supervision of staff,
  • New sales, membership satisfaction, membership retention, and management of member and program participant accounts.  
  • Corporate partnerships, membership promotions and membership recognition and appreciation activities along with community image and awareness through marketing of the branch.  
  • This position is responsible for all developing, marketing, implementing and expanding membership and child watch.  
  • This position will have responsibilities with the Annual Campaign.
  • Incumbent will implement all YMCA policies and procedures for risk management/safety for all staff, volunteers, and participants. 
  • This position will oversee the Martial Arts programming including enrollment and staff supervision.
  • Assist with in-branch social media and marketing. 
Qualifications
  • An undergraduate degree in a related field and/or 4 years customer/membership service, health and wellness experience or administrative experience, with one of those years in a supervisory role.
  • Must possess the physical, visual, and auditory capabilities to perform all job related responsibilities.  
  • Enthusiasm, a professional personal image and the ability to work harmoniously with staff and members are imperative.  
  • The Member Services Director must possess the ability to be creative and have high problem-solving capabilities.
