Job Description

The Association Facility Director will oversee preventative maintenance of the facilities, grounds, and equipment of the Ocean Community YMCA. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical, heating, plumbing and ventilation systems and the ability to perform maintenance in these areas.
  • Experience in general maintenance, including swimming pool chemistry preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Leadership experience, including motivating and coaching staff and public relations.
  • Certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Administration (YMCA willing to train).
Essential Functions
  • Serving as a leader in management of project contracts, site documentation, and licensing
  • Conduct regular inspections of sites using approved forms and protocols.
  • Ensuring that all buildings are up to date with building and fire codes.
  • Supports facilities with special events, including equipment needs, permit requirements, and vendor negotiations.
  • Establishing ongoing communication with frontline staff at all sites
  • Monitoring financial performance including monthly forecasting, annual budget preparation and explaining variances.
  • Serving as lead in integrating the YMCA's risk management program concerning facilities
