Senior Aquatics Director

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a positive Senior Aquatics Director to join our team in Bremerton, WA.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent knowledge that includes supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff, and volunteer development.

  • You have a current Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED,  First Aid, and Oxygen certifications.
  • You are willing and able to complete Child Abuse Prevention on the first day of employment as well as other required annual training.
Essential Functions

A  YMCA Senior Aquatics Director is responsible for:

  • Leading the Aquatics team and managing aquatics operations with celebration and service.
  • Responsible for staff development, administration, fiscal management, connecting members, and program development. 
  • Provide an impactful staff experience by recruiting and hiring, training and developing, supervising and evaluating employees and volunteers to ensure staff are representative of the mission of the YMCA.
