Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner runs a full cycle recruitment desk, supporting the goals of the TA department by maintaining a high volume of candidate interaction, screening, and scheduling. As a first line candidate screener, the individual in this role will provide creative solutions to staffing shortages and apply industry knowledge to our high-volume recruitment process.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of experience in an HR or recruiting environment
  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment preferred
  • Experience coordinating or recruiting in a high-volume hiring environment, such as staffing, or in-house recruitment preferred
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Knowledge of social networks, professional sourcing platforms and resume databases
Essential Functions
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment process for assigned client group(s), manage fluctuation in workload and provide recruitment assistance to teammates during peak seasons
  • Manage all pre-hire contingencies for external and internal candidates
  • Negotiate salary with candidate and gain necessary approvals for offer letter and compensation rate
  • Disposition all candidates appropriately and navigate candidates through each process step in a timely manner
  • Facilitate and foster exceptional relationships with Hiring Managers, YMCA Branches and Leadership
  • Anticipate hiring needs and proactively capitalize on various sourcing strategies to improve candidate pipeline
  • Maintain excellent candidate and hiring manager experience with attentive responsiveness, prompt follow-through and timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process
  • Assist applicants with basic troubleshooting of job board and application process
  • Represent the YMCA at community events, such as job fairs, tabling and other candidate engagement events
  • Travel to local YMCA branches to ensure a full understanding of leadership, teams and branch culture
