Job Description

The Sr. Association Director of Membership and Analytics is responsible for growing outreach and resources by expanding the impact and outputs of YMCA membership and developing the strategies for analytics for all departments/programs/services. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales, Business Development, Analytics
  • Strong background in business development, change management and implementation of activities that are informed by a theory of change model
  • Demonstrated ability to produce positive results in sales, marketing strategies, and customer service delivery
  • Knowledge of business intelligence, market research, data collection, data mining, and reporting
  • Demonstrated abilities to develop processes and evaluation for membership impact, quality, service, safety, and consistent operations
  • Must be self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to effectively work under pressure, use independent judgment, and produce quality work within tight time constraints
  • Knowledge of data capture, ETL, validation and test methods to standards and automate analyses
  • Ability to adapt membership offerings and approaches to ensure organizational relevance in diverse communities
Essential Functions
  • Expand the YMCA business model for membership to increase accessibility and revenue (ARPU) through an integrated revenue strategy including acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Develop predictive analytics for revenue generation of membership and programs to include utilizing KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support data driven decision-making
  • Monitor and track membership sales by campaign, branch, timeframe, revenue, ARPU, membership types, fiscal month, fiscal year and more. Monitor key indicators of membership effectiveness and ensure integrity of the data by monitoring membership unit sales, cancelations, net, ARPU, gate scans and retention
  • Develop customer segmentation definitions, data mining, segment performance reporting, measurement, and analysis, provide key insights on segment profitability
  • Develop Association Membership best practices for growth through training in budget development, acquisition, retention, customer service, and customer engagement informed by our Well-being, strategies
  • Provide strategic alignment with the Well-being Committee to reposition membership as an avenue to improve individuals and community well-being as informed by the YMCA Theory of Change model
  • In partnership with the Research and Evaluation department, develop a Well-being impact measurement evaluation tool. Develop processes to collect membership impact data, CQI and customer sentiment
  • Develop annual membership campaigns and budget in partnership with Senior Leadership and marketing including monthly and annual sales metrics
  • Oversee the development of association standard membership business processes in Traction Rec platform
  • Supervise and lead the Association Membership Operations Director to ensure branch and Association revenue goals are achieved.
