Job Description
The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven leader to join our Y as our NEW Annual Giving Director. As part of our Development team, you will report to our Director of Donor Development and work closely with our Donor Experience Director and Director of Marketing to help raise awareness & funds for our Y to help strengthen our community through youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living.    This is a full-time, salaried position that includes a full benefits package, free family Y membership & free programs, child care discount, PTO, Paid Birthday, free employee assistance program, and 12% retirement after two years of service. 
Qualifications

Qualifications include a BS degree in financial development, public relations, communications, or a related field; 3-5 years within a non-profit fundraising or outreach activities or related field/experience. Must be able to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community while articulating the Y's purpose and mission and demonstrating the Y's character values. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required. Excellent organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines are required. 

Essential Functions

Responsibilities include growing the culture of philanthropy through planning and execution of strategic and creative fundraising campaigns which will include direct mail and email marketing, social media campaigns, giving days, and staff campaigns. This position will be a super-user of the database to develop donor segmentation and giving reports. This is an integral role in the development team.
