Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the YMCA of WNC's websites, social media channels, email marketing, digital advertising, search engine optimization, mobile app support, and photo and video production. The ideal candidate is a digital native with sharp technical skills, a heart for meaningful work, and a desire to create and connect. They are attracted to projects that involve creative thinking, technical expertise, and business pursuits. This individual is able to accommodate technical issues while drafting inventive, original work. The position is based in Asheville, North Carolina and is eligible for hybrid work.

  • Minimum of two years of work experience in communications and digital marketing and/or a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Analytical, data-driven thinker with the desire to innovate
  • Proficient in website management; experience with Drupal 9 a plus
  • Experience with social media content creation and scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social
  • Experience with email marketing and automation platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, and Hubspot
  • Proficient with search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics platforms and tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google My Business
  • Experience with digital and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, including Facebook Ads and Facebook Business Suite, Instagram, and Google Ads
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud tools
